Graffin was one a member of a race known as the Mercora. He was differant from other Mercora however, far more mentally developed. He was one of their leading scientists. He worked on all their most advanced projects. After the Nesk invasion, he worked on weaponizing his inventions, and was reponsible for the deaths of millions of Nesk. Being Mercora, this had a profound effect on him. He swore off violence and fled in one of his ships. The planet he landed on would eventually become the homeworld of the race known as Graffins children. He helped that primitive world develop, trying to help repair the damage he had done to life.
He taught his children to be peaceful, loving, and welcoming, although not even at a stone age level of development, they were much like the Pemalites. He lived among them as their father. He continued his scientific exploits, developing many healing technologies and other such technologies. He started working on temporal mechanics, trying to perfect the art of looking or even traveling through time. His goal was to be able to go back and stop himself from turning his devices into weapons to kill Nesk. Well conducting one of his experiments, he expossed himself to a massive quantity or temporal energy particles and he was partially drawn into the fabric of space time. He was transformed into a being similer to The One or Drode. It was then that Crayak became aware of him and his children.
Then Crayak sent his Howlers to wipe out what he saw as a pathetic race. Graffin failed to protect them from the vicious Howlers.
